Multiskilled Shift engineer - HVAC bias.
Location: Dudley. Shift pattern 4 on 4 off.
Qualification required: NVQ level 3 in Air Conditioning or Heating or Plumbing or Electrical.
Main duties include general maintenance, PPM and reactive work across the hospital. We are looking for an experienced Shift HVAC Bias to work with Mitie client in a hospital environment to conduct work that provides a multi-skilled maintenance service, covering electrical and mechanical disciplines, and to provide a reactive and pro-active maintenance service as per project requirements to all operational equipment.
You will be responsible for carrying out modifications and installations when required, maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant to optimize both reliability and maintainability. You will provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met and liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required. You will also need to complete any required paperwork and produce reports accurately and on a timely basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance, PPM and reactive work
- Use appropriate test equipment and tools, understanding their limitations
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and attend toolbox talks
