We're looking for a Building Services Maintenance Operative to join our facilities management team, supporting the safe and efficient operation of a busy client site.

This is a varied role where you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical and building fabric systems while helping to deliver an excellent service experience for our customers.

  • Role Responsibilities
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical and building fabric assets.
  • Carry out routine inspections, water hygiene tasks and plant room checks to ensure systems remain safe, compliant and operational.
  • Support engineers, specialist contractors and minor installation works across the site.
  • Use CAFM systems and handheld technology to accurately record tasks, updates and maintenance activities.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, permits to work and safe systems of work while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience within facilities management, building services or a maintenance environment.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical and fabric maintenance activities.
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements and safe working practices.
  • Ability to identify and resolve routine maintenance issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, a proactive approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Willingness to undergo a DV clearance
