As a Faith Community Security Officer, you are responsible for protecting the property, people, and assets of our clients while working in various religious buildings. You must be sensitive to diverse religious beliefs and needs, and adjust your dealings with children, vulnerable adults, and non‑English speakers accordingly. We are looking for dependable and courteous officers who can ensure a peaceful and respectful environment.

Main Duties:

  • Serve as a positive point of contact for visitors and colleagues, providing support when needed and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
  • Manage security or safety incidents, report and respond to identified threats, and consult with clients, colleagues, and visitors to improve safety.
  • Conduct building and property patrols, health and safety incident management, access control, first aid, lost property management, and other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Door Supervisors SIA Licence.
  • Hold a valid SIA certification and have at least two years of security experience.
  • Show a passion for providing excellent service.
  • Respect diverse cultures and beliefs.
