Key Responsibilities
As a Retail Security Officer you play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and secure environment for customers and colleagues.
You will
- Maintain a visible presence in the store, greeting customers and supporting both customers and colleagues.
- Prevent loss, respond to incidents and support safe ways of working.
- Use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body‑worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.
- Remain calm under pressure, act professionally during challenging situations or emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with store colleagues to maintain high standards and create a positive environment.
- Adapt quickly to changing situations in a fast‑paced, retail environment.
- Required Qualifications
We are seeking confident, customer‑focused individuals who can combine strong awareness with a warm, approachable attitude.
- Previous security experience is preferred.
- Valid SIA licence is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Calm, confident and professional approach.
