Pay rate: £12.60. Hours: 45 hours per week.
Mitie is looking for a retail security officer who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues. It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (though training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances). Vetting: a full 5-year checkable employment/education history is required; failure to do so could result in withdrawal of offer or termination of employment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver industry leading customer service
- Deter violence and public order offences
- Conduct patrols of the store
- Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
- Liaise with store management teams
- Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store
- Wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
