What we are looking for
We are currently looking for an experienced security professional with experience working in a Regional Control Room / Operations Centre. The ideal candidate will be:
- SIA Security and CCTV Licence holder.
- Previous experience in a security-related role, preferably within a corporate or financial Control Room / Operations Centre environment.
- Have a good geopolitical knowledge of the UK&I, Middle East, Africa and CIS regions.
- Strong familiarity with security systems, protocols, and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and respond to security threats.
- Effective communication abilities to relay information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisive decisions under pressure.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in using security software and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor the security systems in operation within the Regional Operations Centre (ROC) and the Security Control Room (SCR) for the UKMEAR region.
- Respond to alarms and report/record relevant details required to the appropriate vendor.
- Facilitate the routine security systems management of installed equipment (CCTV/access control etc) through regular operational checks.
- Continuous monitoring of open-source media to identify any potential impact to DB operations or business travel in the region.
- Respond to security alerts, incidents, and emergencies promptly and effectively.
- Establish and maintain timely and effective communication between all management levels during incidents, accident, and emergency situations.
- Maintain full understanding of Corporate Security Key Operating Documents (KOD's) to effectively manage incidents relating to crisis management.
- Remain alert to local/regional events which could potentially impact business operations
