Are you an experienced Security Officer looking for a role that offers variety, flexibility and the opportunity to work across a wider area?
We are looking for a reliable and professional Area Relief Security Officer to support a number of retail locations across our Worcestershire cluster, covering areas including Evesham, Ronkswood and Bromsgrove.
This is a varied role where you will be expected to travel between different areas within the cluster, providing support where required and becoming a trusted member of the wider regional security team.
About the role
As an Area Relief Officer, you won't be permanently based at one location. You will work across multiple areas within the Worcestershire cluster, providing reliable security cover at different locations depending on operational requirements.
This could mean working in Evesham one day, Ronkswood another, and Bromsgrove on another occasion, so the ability and willingness to travel across the cluster is an essential part of the position.
The role would suit an officer who enjoys variety, is comfortable adapting to different sites and takes pride in being someone the wider team can rely upon.
Your responsibilities will include
- Providing a visible and professional security presence
- Supporting multiple locations across the Worcestershire cluster
- Travelling between different areas when required
- Preventing and deterring theft and criminal activity
- Responding professionally to incidents
- Supporting store management and colleagues
- Completing accurate incident reports and documentation
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Adapting quickly to different sites, teams and working environments
- Providing reliable relief and operational support across the cluster
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is:
- SIA licensed
- Reliable, professional and punctual
- Comfortable working independently
- Flexible and adaptable
- Confident working across different locations
- Comfortable travelling throughout the Worcestershire cluster
- Professional when dealing with customers, colleagues and management
- Previous retail security experience is desirable
Own vehicle essential
Due to the area-based nature of this position, access to your own reliable car is ESSENTIAL.
The successful candidate will need to travel between multiple locations across the Worcestershire cluster, so you must be comfortable travelling between Evesham, Ronkswood, Bromsgrove and surrounding areas as required.
Applicants without access to their own vehicle will not be considered.
