Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer who can deliver exceptional customer service while creating a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues. It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances). Vetting is vital; you must have a full 5-year checkable employment/education history. Failure to provide this could lead to offer withdrawal or termination.
Main Duties
- Deliver industry-leading customer service.
- Deter violence and public order offences.
- Conduct patrols of the store.
- Utilise CCTV systems to support crime reduction and minimise stock loss.
- Liaise with store management teams.
- Liaise with the Police and crime partnership to foster effective relationships and support crime reduction in store.
- Wear body-worn CCTV to enhance crime reduction and increase safety for colleagues and customers.
