ROLE: R2R Compliance & Governance Lead
HOURS: 37.5 hours a week

We're looking for an R2R Compliance & Governance Lead to join the FSS Record to Report (R2R) team.
Reporting to the FSS R2R Controller, this role is a key member of the R2R function.
The role is responsible for leading and overseeing compliance and governance activities performed by the offshore team, ensuring all statutory, regulatory and internal reporting obligations are delivered accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines.
The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between FSS, Group Tax, Divisional Finance and the offshore team, providing technical expertise, leadership, coaching and support to drive a culture of strong financial control, high-quality service delivery and continuous process improvement.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of compliance and governance activities performed by the Wipro offshore Compliance & Governance team.
- Ensure all tax and compliance-related activities are completed accurately and in line with statutory and internal deadlines.
- Review and approve VAT returns prepared by the offshore team prior to submission to Group Tax for final approval.
- Review and approve CIS returns prior to submission.
- Review statutory accounts prepared by the offshore team to ensure accuracy, completeness, appropriate formatting and inclusion of Group Finance amendments.
- Undertake ad hoc duties and support additional activities as required, in line with the needs of the RTR function and wider business priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Accounting experience and qualifications essential.
- Strong knowledge of VAT and CIS compliance processes.
- High proficiency in Excel and confidence working with large data sets.
