We are looking for a QHSE Manager who will be responsible for implementing our integrated business management system, identifying and minimising the risk of accidents, and collaborating with the wider Mitie QHSE team.
Role Responsibilities:- Ensure the company's Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies are implemented consistently across the organisation.
- Maintain and update the QHSE documentation: manuals, policies, procedures and records.
- Identify new and amended safety requirements / legislation to Mitie and HSE requirements.
- Conduct Site inspections, tours, audits, risk assessments, working with the Engineering Manager & team to ensure compliance in all departments.
- Conduct H&S training and briefings with employees and contractors, including 'Toolbox Talks'.
- Undertake and assist in site investigations and incidents - creating reports once completed.
- Attend Safety, Quality and Environmental related meetings and site visits with Mitie, Contractors and Clients.
- Assist in the planning & production of H&S, Environmental and Quality documentation including Construction Phase Plans, Work Package Plans, Task Briefings, Risk Assessments, COSH Assessments etc.
- Experience within Quality, H&S and Environmental.
- Proficient in QHSE data analysis and reporting.
- Experience working in a Commercial, Client facing environment.
- Essential: Understanding of CDM regulations, NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
- Self motivated, driven and organised individual.
- Experience in conducting site audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
