  • To be able to project manage contracts
  • To hold relevant FISS/CSCS certificates.
  • CITB SMSTS
  • To be able to demonstrate estimating skills
  • To have a good working knowledge of all fence types, Electrical Fencing Systems, CCTV and Access Control Systems
  • To have a working knowledge of gate automation
  • To have knowledge of fabrication in relation to fences and gates
  • To have a good working knowledge of NEC3 contracts
  • To be experienced in man management skills
  • To have a good working knowledge of sub-contracting procedures and practices

  • Role & Responsibilities
  • Project manage contracts
  • Estimating and quotes
  • Monthly report to the MD & Contracts Director for contract progression / updates
  • Manage application for payments
  • Customer contact (new & ongoing)
  • Site set up and Management
  • Liaison with site staff.
  • Method Statements Preparation
  • Risk Assessments Preparation
  • Site Health & Safety
  • Health & Safety Site Inspections
  • Ensure Quality Control and Test Inspection documents for the project are completed as per planned timescales
  • For promoting good practice of material sustainability (Reuse and/or Recycle) initiatives to reduce waste and save costs
  • Ensuring that where applicable, contractor's operatives are competent, qualified and licensed to undertake their work activities correctly and that all plant and equipment used is tested, maintained and certified as specified
  • Ensuring all necessary checks to ensure that installed services and equipment complies with the contract documentation
  • Ensure Monitor the recording and reporting all defective materials and substandard quality/workmanship standards that do not meet the works specification/s
  • Determine and assess the need for additional staff and resources
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify project risks and devise contingency plans.
