Role Purpose
To provide a visible, proactive security presence across designated operational areas, supporting the reduction of crime and anti-social behaviour while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for colleagues, visitors, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Duties and Patrolling
- -Liaise with the National Security Operations Room (NSOR) at the start, during, and end of shifts.
- -Always maintain effective communication while on duty.
- -Ensure all equipment is issued, used, and recorded correctly.
- -Report incidents and activity in a timely and accurate manner.
- -Maintain a visible presence to deter crime and provide reassurance.
Security Support & Engagement
- -Support wider security operations as required.
- -Respond to management or NSOR requests.
- -Engage professionally with colleagues, visitors, and members of the public.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- -Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions.
- -Reliable, professional, and proactive
- -Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- -Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history
Desirable
- -SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- -Previous security or community safety experience
- -First Aid qualification
- -Full UK driving licence.
