We are looking for organised, detail-focused, and customer-oriented individuals to join our Vetting Team as Vetting Co-Ordinators. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high-quality service.

As a Vetting Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for supporting candidates throughout the pre-employment screening process, ensuring all vetting activities are completed accurately, compliantly, and within required timescales. You'll work closely with applicants, hiring managers, and external agencies, making a direct contribution to the successful onboarding of our workforce.

Location: Northampton (NN4 7SL) or Birmingham (B37)

Salary: Β£26,299 per annum

Role: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing vetting cases from initiation through to completion.
  • Processing employment, education, and personal references.
  • Reviewing documentation and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
  • Liaising with candidates, hiring managers, and third-party providers to obtain outstanding information.
  • Monitoring workloads and progressing applications to meet business deadlines.
  • Supporting the delivery of regulatory screening requirements, including Right to Work, DBS, and employment history checks.
  • Ensuring all information is handled in accordance with GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
  • Providing excellent customer service and resolving queries professionally and efficiently.

What We're Looking ForEssential Skills & Experience

  • Previous administration experience in a busy office or shared service environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with sensitive information.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering excellent customer service.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within a vetting, compliance, recruitment, HR, or screening environment.
  • Knowledge of DBS, Right to Work, BPSS, BS7858, or pre-employment screening processes.
  • Experience using recruitment or screening systems.
