Mitie is looking for a Retail Security Officer who can deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe shopping environment, free from the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Deliver industry-leading customer service.
- Deter violence and public order offences.
- Conduct patrols of the store.
- Utilise CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss.
- Liaise with store management teams.
- Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships to foster a great working relationship and support crime reduction in store.
- Wear Body‑Worn CCTV to support the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety.
Qualifications
- It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA certificates (training for a licence can be provided in some circumstances).
- Vetting is vital – candidates must have a full 5‑year checkable employment/education history; failure to provide this may result in your offer being withdrawn or your employment terminated.
