Mitie is offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer - Mechanical/Plumbing Bias to join our team and help maintain a wide range of building systems at two of our key client's sites situated at London Bridge and Canary Wharf. You will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of essential infrastructure. Full time, Permanent 40 hours per week.
Main Duties
- Service, maintenance, and repair of mechanical installations including ventilation (AHUs, intake/extract systems), heating & cooling (thermal wheels, fan coil units), and water systems (booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters).
- Tasks involve preventative and reactive maintenance, statutory compliance checks such as legionella monitoring, responding to client queries, reporting defects, and maintaining accurate records of inspections and service documentation.
We’re looking for
- Deliver a high standard of service and communicate clearly with clients.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and remedial work.
- Be comfortable working in confined spaces, at height, and performing manual tasks.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and use a mobile device for reporting.
- Show flexibility with core hours 8am‑5pm, with potential adjustments for customer requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment.
- Relevant qualifications: F‑Gas, C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 5, or HNC equivalent.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety, Permit to Work systems, and safe working practices.
