We are looking for an Industrial Cleaner / Grounds Maintenance Operative who will deliver excellent service and standards, while meeting SLA agreements and maintaining outdoor spaces to the highest quality.

Location: GSK - Montrose - Angus
Responsibilities:
- To be responsible with part of the team to carry out internal industrial cleaning of production buildings.
- To be responsible for the landscaping and servicing of areas across site by the Management Team, adhering to the standard required by the client and Mitie.
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
- Keep up to date with training courses, including online courses.
- Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required.
- Carry out General grounds maintenance duties including:
- Grass cutting and strimming of areas across Site along with the biodiversity site rules.
- Carrying out planting and plant maintenance, minor trimming and cutting.
- Winter road maintenance, including gritting and snow clearance in winter months.
- Weeding / Spraying weeds.
- Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively.
- Pressure washing of building facades, cladding and windows.
- Pressure washing of bunds and tanks on rotation.
- Carry out roof and gutter cleaning across site.
- Have the ability to work at height on a regular basis using a MEWP or on scaffolding.
What we are looking for:
- A passion for working outdoors in agile and flexible environments.
- Comfortable working at height.
- Willingness to work towards gaining Pesticides Spraying Qualifications: PAI Safe Handling & Application of Pesticides & PA6A Hand Held Applicators On Land.
- Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
- IPAF training and experience is also desirable, but not necessary; after 3-month probation training will be available.
- Full UK Driving Manual license is a must for roles involving company vehicles.
