Mobile Mechanical Supervisor (HVAC Bias)

We're looking for a Mobile Mechanical Supervisor (HVAC Bias) who will manage a team of engineers from all trades, be responsible for workload related to mechanical and HVAC on site, and carry out works to the highest standard of customer service.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist with the day‑to‑day supervision of a team of technicians, sub‑contractors and any other specialists attending the client's premises, ensuring the highest level of service to building occupants in a cost‑effective, technically competent and safe manner.
- Provide support to the Contract Manager in the efficient use of labour and materials by co‑ordinating all planned and reactive maintenance work across the designated portfolio of premises.
- Work with the Service Desk to ensure planned maintenance and reactive works are delivered within contractual SLAs and KPIs.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure all required certification is in place within the required timescales, with all remedials captured and actioned.
- Ensure all TBTs and staff briefings are completed, and that engineer certification is in date and regularly checked.
- Ensure all sub‑contractors operate to the highest safety standards.
Main Duties
- Ensure self and team carry out duties in accordance with all Health and Safety procedures, Codes of Practice and Statutory Regulations.
- Work with the Contract Manager to ensure operatives are adequately qualified and appointed as necessary.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard of customer service, on time, within budget, and in line with SLAs and KPIs.
- Provide supervision, coaching, support and development to team members. Undertake day‑to‑day people management, including conduct, performance, attendance and capability.
- Build effective working relationships with the client, answering queries and keeping them informed of site activities and developments.
- Identify opportunities for additional works and organise and manage these to completion in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Ensure all statutory certification is in place and accurately recorded on business systems. Monitor, co‑ordinate and manage specialist services and sub‑contractors. Ensure compliance with all Permit to Work systems.
- Assist with implementing improvements to procedures and systems, making recommendations where appropriate.
- Complete all work‑related documentation accurately and on time.
- Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures. Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner and ensure full compliance with Health and Safety policies.
- Attend and fully participate in training and MiReview activities as required. Undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
- Be part of the call‑out rota for out‑of‑hours 24/7 support.
