Job Title: Mobile Cleaning Supervisor
Hourly Rate of Pay: £14.00
Position Type: Permanent (Network Rail – York)
Type of Employment: Full Time
Hours: 37.50 hours per week (Monday – Friday; Flexible to attend weekends as required)
Location: Network Rail, York Campus, Cinder Lane, York, North Yorkshire, England, YO26 4ZD
We\\\’re looking for a Senior Mobile Cleaning Supervisor who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and managing a cleaning team across multiple client sites.
Responsibilities
- Manage a cleaning team, including recruitment, training, and development
- Deliver routine planned and periodic cleaning to a high standard
- Ensure staff follow task schedules and Health & Safety procedures
- Monitor cleanliness standards, distribute uniforms, and manage stock levels
- Handle issues professionally and escalate to line manager when needed
- Manage the use of electronic scheduling system
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory and cleaning experience
- Strong communication skills and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and to a schedule
- Reliable, hardworking, and committed to service excellence
