We're looking for a weekend School Caretaker who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to Mitie process and procedures.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all required training and follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
  • Supporting with third party lettings.
  • Ensure proper maintenance, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
  • Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
  • Perform PPM tasks emergency light checks, fire door inspection and support out-of-hours building use.
  • Dealing and escorting contractors when on site.
  • Carry out building condition checks to the building before and after use to ensure that there is no damages.

  • Previous caretaking experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Open, honest, self-driven, and determined.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality, with willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
