We're looking for a Multi‑Skilled Mechanical Engineer who will deliver electrical and mechanical maintenance across a large London estate, working as part of a 24/7 shift team to ensure critical buildings remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
Role Responsibilities
- Undertake planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance across a wide range of building services.
- Work as part of a balanced shift team (electrical and mechanical) providing 24‑hour cover for the London estate.
- Identify plant defects, warning indicators and system faults, taking appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain and support building services systems including power distribution, motor controls, lighting, standby generators, controls systems, inverters and fire alarm/PA systems.
Required Qualifications
- City & Guilds craft certificate / ONC or equivalent.
- Recognised craft apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Ability to obtain and pass full intrusive security checks (mandatory).
- C&G Level 3 in HVAC/Mechanical Engineering (desirable).
