LOCATION: HMP Isis - YOI - SE28 0NZ

SALARY: £26,500

Mitie are recruiting for a Handyperson to be based at HMP Isis in West Thamesmead to carry out building maintenance tasks and duties across the site. The site is a young offenders cat C prison so security clearance is required to work on site.

Your main duties will include:

  • Perform small decorating and plumbing duties
  • Fixtures of doors, windows, maintenance and repair tasks
  • Keep structures, fixtures, and systems in good condition
  • Escort sub-contractors on site
  • Carry out any reasonable request to perform duties which are normal custom and practice in a Maintenance Building Services environment

What we are looking for:

  • Proactive and adaptable person
  • Any building maintenance / handyperson experience is highly desirable
