Mitie are recruiting for a Handyperson to be based at HMP Isis in West Thamesmead to carry out building maintenance tasks and duties across the site. The site is a young offenders cat C prison so security clearance is required to work on site.
Your main duties will include:
- Perform small decorating and plumbing duties
- Fixtures of doors, windows, maintenance and repair tasks
- Keep structures, fixtures, and systems in good condition
- Escort sub-contractors on site
- Carry out any reasonable request to perform duties which are normal custom and practice in a Maintenance Building Services environment
