As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day security operations, ensuring the safety of people and property while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. You will manage and develop a team of officers, oversee incident response, and ensure full compliance with all procedures, delivering a seamless and customer-focused security service.
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday. 0700-1700. Pay Rate: £17.65/ph. Weekly hours: 45.
Main Duties:
- Ensure team compliance with standard operating procedures and risk assessments.
- Maintain knowledge of emergency, lockdown, and critical incident procedures.
- Challenge suspicious behaviour appropriately.
- Ensure officers follow uniform and equipment standards.
- Complete radio checks as required.
- Report all incidents promptly to Security Control Room.
Training & Development:
- Deliver refresher training and conduct spot checks.
- Ensure all officers are competent in procedures.
- Supervise and support training for new staff.
- Identify and request additional training needs.
- Mentor and develop team members.
People Management (HR):
- Conduct monthly 1:1s with team members.
- Carry out mid-year and end-of-year appraisals.
- Manage return-to-work interviews after sickness.
- Support staff rostering to ensure service coverage.
- Conduct any investigations required.
- Assist in rostering and plan of security officers.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead by example to maintain high service standards.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and service providers.
- Proactively monitor and manage team performance in key areas (e.g. reception).
General Responsibilities:
- Carry out any reasonable management requests.
- Ensure smooth and professional day-to-day team operations.

- A valid SIA License - SG/DS. (CCTV Preferable).
- Knowledge of HR issues (investigations, grievances, disciplines etc).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous team management experience.
- Organise and manage workloads.
