Responsibilities:
- Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, hot beverages, and light snacks to a consistently high standard.
- Maintaining food safety and allergen awareness at all times, ensuring compliance with Mitie and NHS.
- Managing stock levels for coffee, milk, and related supplies, and keeping service areas replenished.
- Operating tills and handling cash accurately, where required.
- Ensuring all equipment, workstations, and service areas are clean, tidy, and safe up to health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and colleagues to deliver excellent service.
Qualifications:
- Previous Barista experience with the ability to work under pressure and unsupervised, where required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and allergen procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and approachable manner.
- A strong team player who also works confidently on their own initiative.
- Adaptability, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Candidate must be flexible with timings, able to multitask and work at other retail units within the hospital as requested.
