We are currently seeking a versatile and enthusiastic individual to provide dedicated administrative support within our logistics team as a Logistics Administrator. The primary focus of this role is to deliver excellent administrative services. It is a dual role, providing support for both our Transport and Mail functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Book travel arrangements and schedule business travel requests.
- Coordinate travel requests and communicate with customers and drivers.
- Manage IT equipment and maintain accurate records in an orderly and timely manner.
- Prioritise and safeguard the physical security and personal information of mail in accordance with current regulations.
- Control the receipt of parcels, packets and letters from Royal Mail and commercial couriers.
- Accurately sort and distribute mail within specified timeframes, ensuring proper signatures for receipt.
- Carry out all activities in full compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and the General Data Protection Regulations.
- Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating confidence, self‑motivation and initiative.
- Be highly responsive to company and customer requirements.
