As an Environmental Services Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring Liverpool ONE remains clean, presentable and operational at all times. Working across the estate, you will support high standards of cleanliness, waste management and public safety in both indoor, outdoor and underground areas.

Type: Full-Time

Hours: 42 p/w, 4 on / 4 off

Pay: £13.45 per hour

Location: Liverpool One Shopping Centres – Liverpool – 5 Wall Street

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out cleaning duties across the estate including malls, public areas, toilets, external walkways and back of house areas
  • Sweep, mop, pressure wash and maintain external spaces across the 48-acre site
  • Collect, segregate and dispose of waste and recycling safely and efficiently
  • Operate waste compactors and support waste management procedures
  • Respond promptly to spillages, hazards and emergency cleaning requests
  • Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly
  • Support the team in maintaining health & safety standards across the estate
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with visitors, retailers and contractors
  • Patrol designated areas to identify cleanliness or safety concerns

A positive attitude with a strong work ethic is essential. You should have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, good awareness of health & safety practices, and be reliable, punctual and flexible with working hours. Previous cleaning, environmental services or waste management experience is essential. You must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
