Look at our Bank opportunities for Bank Police Custody Detention Officers. The next ITC course is due to start 28TH September. Training will be held at T2 in Birmingham for 2 weeks and a hotel will be provided. You will be expected to complete national Police Vetting prior to starting the role, and you will be paid for the days you attend the ITC course.

We are looking for people who want to make a difference working alongside the Police in custody suites, caring for detainees – from supporting them during the time spent in custody, working with other agencies to support and help with detainees' rehabilitation.
Previous experience working within the police, security, or armed forces would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.

A little more about the role… The custody suites can be an energetic place to work, with no two shifts the same. Whilst detained, we provide individuals with all their physical, mental healthcare and wellbeing needs. As well as escorting detainees, making recorded observations as per their individual plan, you'll work with colleagues and the Police to deal with any detainee that is a risk of harming themselves.
