Location: Pladis Wigston, Canal Street, South Wigston, LE18 4PQ. The role will require travel to Ladis Harlesden, Waxlow Road, Harlesden, London, NW10 7NY - train and hotel will be provided.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 Hours Per week.
Job Overview: Site Surplus Stock Controller is responsible for the communication and execution of the Imperfect Product sales agenda and associated site waste streams, reporting to the central functional lead. The candidate will typically be responsible for the organisation and maximum collection opportunities in each product category of imperfect product. They will collaborate effectively and raise potential risks to key stakeholders. Deliver documented reports on waste stream progress on a weekly basis to key stakeholders. The role will cover multiple waste streams across the site including card, plastic, animal feed, R1 Reduce, R2 Reuse, R3 Recycle. This list is not exhaustive.
Main Duties:
- Building strong relationships with both internal and external customers
- Ensure maximum return is achieved where possible on the sale of waste
- Deliver the weekly and monthly Imperfect Product sales numbers vs forecast
- Supporting the UK Waste Specialist and Site Management Teams through reports and analysis that aid decision making where required
- Provide details of any scope data relevant to the role i.e., weekly net sales
- Maintenance of Imperfect Product Dashboard through tracking volume
