We are looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor who will deliver high‑quality water hygiene risk assessments across a range of sites, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments manually and electronically across various sites in accordance with BS8580‑1:2019.
  • Produce high‑quality reports, including schematic drawings, using a tablet (admin support provided).
  • Provide clear and confident technical advice to clients and internal teams.
  • Cross‑train in additional competencies such as Pseudomonas assessment, scald risk assessments, and further water hygiene‑related disciplines.
  • Support operational tasks as required to meet contractual commitments.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
  • Demonstrable experience assessing domestic water systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Enhanced DBS (preferred; can be arranged if required).

Desirable Qualifications (training can be provided)

  • Experience working within hospitals or healthcare environments (HTM04‑01).
  • Experience with process water systems.
  • Experience with spa baths in line with HSG 282 guidance.
