We are looking for a porter on a high-profile contract to assist, support and carry out daily porterage tasks. Main duties will include:
- Meeting room setups
- Furniture moves
- Bin runs
- Dealing with waste subcontractors
- Escorting contractors
- Ad-hoc cleaning tasks
- Using cleaning machinery e.g. jet wash, scrubber dryer
- Assisting reception
- Maintenance walks
- Spotting and reporting hazards
- Accepting incoming deliveries and mail
- Distribution of deliveries and mail
- Logging and screening of mail
- Any ad-hoc duties as required
We are looking for someone motivated, proactive and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role involves efficiently receiving, processing, and distributing goods, mail and managing deliveries. You'll support stock control, maintain an organized work environment, and provide excellent customer service while responding to service requests.
Must have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, good time management, and a team-oriented approach. Basic IT literacy is required. Applicants will need to be residing in the UK for the past 5 years due to security checks we need to carry out.
