Permanent (Full Time) position at Leeds (LS11 8BU), with the possible opportunity to cover sites at Normanton and Carr Gate (paid). Both of these sites are within a 10 mile radius and a work van will be provided for travel. Hours worked per week: 42.
Compliance requirements: West Yorkshire Police Vetting.
Shift Pattern/ Shift Details: 2 days and two nights on then 4 days off (7AM-7PM then 7PM-7AM).
Main Duties:
- To carry out general porterage, cleaning support if required, decorating duties as requested by the facilities manager maintaining internal and external entrance and surrounds.
- To carry out routine checks on plant and equipment to ensure optimum conditions are achieved.
- To carry out PPM / Planned Maintenance on a regular basis.
- Undertaking all building fabric activities, such as patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting and decorating.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a handy person or someone with an all-round general knowledge of maintenance duties.
- Previous experience in a customer facing environment.
- Physical/dexterity, manual handling ability.
- Full driver's licence.
