Mitie Care & Custody (C&C) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to support training administration for operational and non-operational staff, ensuring compliance with contractual, MOJ, company, legislative, and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collate, review, and allocate training for staff, ensuring all training is recorded, reviewed, assigned, and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Process and disseminate relevant information accurately and within deadlines.
  • Provide support and advice to staff and local managers to ensure quality standards are met in compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Support development and production of training performance reports, ensuring all key information is accurately recorded and reported to relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, focusing on meeting contractual requirements, adding value, and delivering best practices.
  • Promote commitment and compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental standards.
  • Assist stakeholders, responding constructively to questions and action points from the Independent Monitoring Board (IMB), His Majesty's Inspector of Prisons (HMIP), and the MOJ Contract Monitoring Team; build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Prepare for and actively participate in performance reviews and internal/external inspections.

Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail and clear communication, with a high standard of verbal and written English.
  • Intermediate to expert IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience working in a prison or secure environment, customer service role, or similar is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is desirable.
