Responsibilities:
- Operate in a fast‑paced retail environment, staying alert, responsive and ready to step in when needed.
- Create a welcoming store environment, greeting customers as they start shopping and delivering professional support to both customers and colleagues.
- Help keep stores safe and secure, from preventing loss and responding to incidents, to identifying risks and supporting safe ways of working.
- Stay digitally confident, using store technology including mobile reporting systems and body‑worn cameras to support store operations and incident management.
- Stay calm under pressure, responding to challenging situations and supporting emergency procedures with professionalism and confidence.
- Work as a team player, collaborating closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations and create a positive environment for everyone.
- Adapt quickly to changing situations to support the store, demonstrating flexibility as retail moves fast.
Qualifications:
- Previous security experience is preferred.
- A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential.
