High Level Driver/Cleaner in Hounslow

We're looking for a High Level Driver/Cleaner (Nights) who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to cleaning schedules.

Hourly Rate of Pay: £16.35

Contract Type: Permanent

Type of Employment: Full Time

Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 38.5

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday 20:30 - 05:00

Compulsory Requirements:

• FULL UK DRIVERS LICENSE (HELD FOR MORE THAN 1 YEAR)
• FULL 5 YEARS UK EMPLOYMENT HISTORY (NO GAPS)
• ABILITY TO READ AND WRITE ENGLISH FLUENTLY AND COMMUNICATE TO A HIGH STANDARD
• CONFIDENCE DRIVING A VAN

Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day provision of high-level soft services (cleaning, etc.) working closely with the team leader, to ensure all works are completed in a safe manner, making every effort to complete works within the specified timescales.
• Reporting into the High-level Team Leader.
• Work within the high-level team, carrying out duties effectively and efficiently in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Perform driving duties both landside and airside.
• Follow the Company's Health, Safety and Quality procedures within the course of the role.
• Successfully undertake the training matrix specific to this role.
• Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is in a safe working order.
• Have full knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work to be carried out and time allocated to the area.
• Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness in line with the Contract and relevant contractual standards, carrying out all daily, weekly and periodic tasks as directed by the High-level Team Leader.
• Have a full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used within the premises and to attend all necessary training to be able to use this equipment.
• To comply with the requirements of Health & Safety, other relevant legislation and premises policies.
• PIN in on time when arriving at site and pin out at the correct time on completion of work.
• Use products carefully and look after equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues to the High-level Team Leader.
• Understand and observe MITIE and Client site rules at all times.
• Ensure uniform is clean and tidy.
• To wear protective clothing (PPE) as issued.
• Ensure all relevant safety signs (such as Wet Floor Warning Signs) are used correctly and appropriately at all times.
• To observe all Company and Client statutory fire and safety regulations and to promote good safety habits and methods of work.
• To deal with any complaints that fall within the job holder's duties and report these immediately to the High-level Team Leader/High Level Cleaning Manager.
• Perform miscellaneous cleaning duties as apparent or as instructed by the High-level Team Leader.
• To undertake any other related duties which are within the job holder's capability, according to the needs of the business.
• Carry out a daily check of all cleaning machinery to make sure that it is in a safe working condition and reporting any faults to the High-level Team Leader/Manager.
• Report all accidents and/or potential hazards to the Team Leader and relevant management.
• Report any damage and safety defects on the premises to the Team Leader/Manager.
