We're looking for a Fabric Engineer who will maintain plant and equipment associated with Heathrow, ensuring all planned and reactive works are carried out efficiently in line with contract requirements, relevant legislation, and best practice.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance of plant, equipment, and general fabric work including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and tiling, ensuring a high-quality service at all times.
  • Manage workload effectively, prioritising tasks and ensuring all planned and reactive works are completed in line with schedules, SLAs, and documentation requirements.
  • Work safely and diligently in compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures, including correct use of PPE and reporting of hazards or deficiencies.
  • Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, with a strong understanding of policies, procedures, and CAFM systems.
  • Participate fully in training, appraisals, and continuous development, undertaking additional duties as required by the Operations Manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of the safe use of general hand and power tools.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage workload independently.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral).
  • Good IT skills with understanding of CAFM systems.
  • Positive, inquisitive mindset with a strong focus on Health and Safety.
