Join our team as a Gritting Operative, ensuring customer safety by driving a company vehicle with a gritting hopper distributing rock salt. In return, flexible hours, comprehensive training and rewarding benefits will be offered.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle with a gritting hopper to distribute rock salt as part of winter maintenance.
- Ensure customer safety and compliance while operating the vehicle.
- Be available to work on a call-out basis, including short notice night shifts.
- Work flexible hours and, due to the seasonality of cold weather, be willing to work over the Christmas period.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving license and ability to operate the company van.
- Own suitable space at home for safe storage of the vehicle.
- Previous experience isn’t required as comprehensive training will be provided.
