Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Painter & Decorator to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes across a variety of residential and commercial projects.
Main Duties
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and surfaces
- Measuring and estimating materials required for each job
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
- Protecting furniture, floors, and fixtures during work
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition
- Following health and safety regulations at all times
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members
What we are looking for
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
- Good knowledge of painting techniques and materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management and reliability
- Full UK driving licence (preferred not required)
