Role Overview
Cleaning Operative – 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week) – Millsike Prison, YO41 1PS
Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness in the establishment by carrying out cleaning tasks to a high standard.
- Stocking and maintaining supply rooms to ensure all areas remain fully equipped.
- Following health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines, at all times.
- Conducting disinfection and deep cleaning when required.
- Reporting any incidents, defects, or dangers to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to use initiative when completing tasks.
- Strong customer service skills applied to every job attended.
