From initial design, supply, and installation through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we provide end-to-end solutions that help prevent, detect, and manage fire and security risks for customers nationwide. We are recruiting across multiple regions, including South East, South West (Devon & Cornwall), Wales, and the North East, offering opportunities for field-based engineers to work within their local area while supporting a national customer base.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality servicing and maintenance of fire extinguishers, hose reels, and fire suppression systems for a diverse portfolio of local clients.
- Install, service, and maintain portable fire extinguishers, hose reels, and kitchen fire suppression systems in line with manufacturer guidance and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed in full compliance with current industry standards and specific customer requirements.
- Plan and carry out service visits efficiently, prioritising workloads to meet customer expectations and contractual commitments.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients through clear communication and a customer-focused approach.
- Effectively manage tools, equipment, and vehicle stock, ensuring readiness and compliance at all times.
- Work collaboratively as part of a professional service team, consistently upholding high standards of workmanship and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the servicing and maintenance of fire extinguishers is essential.
- Hold relevant industry qualifications, such as BAFE, FETA, or equivalent recognised certifications.
- Demonstrable background within mechanical fire services or a related technical discipline.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Able to work independently and confidently, with proven fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to travel as required and actively participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Experience working with additional mechanical fire systems is highly desirable.
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
