The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

To carry out the installations and remediations of fire doors and passive fire products in accordance with manufacturer technical guidance and latest British and EN standards on small and large projects works within your capabilities across the UK, ensuring all works are to a high standard within Health & Safety and Quality company requirements.

Responsibilities

  • To conduct the installation and remediation of fire doors to manufacturers guidance and in line with our IFC third party accreditation.
  • To record the installation and refurbishment of the fire door(s) via reporting software, confirming that the door meets with manufacture and installation parameters.
  • To assist in compliant repair and maintenance work strictly in accordance with manufacturer guidance and BS8214.
  • Working to surveys, third party specifications, risk assessment requirements, insurance and local authority notices.
  • Working alone and as part of a team.
  • Ensuring safe transportation of door sets from the manufacture or depot to the site.
  • Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with our Health and Safety system.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to Customer Care.
  • Assist in application of Passive fire stopping, practical experience advantageous.
  • Manual handling of fire doors to and from the area of installation ensuring the safety of all individuals in the area.
  • Removal of redundant fire doors for disposal.
  • Ensuring work area and storage area is always clean and tidy.

Qualifications

  • A driven and enthusiastic individual that relishes a challenging environment, who can work under pressure and works well in a team environment or on their own, must have good communication skills.
  • A minimum of three proven years' experience in fire door carpentry to industry standards.
  • Flexible to work across single and multiple site locations.
  • Demonstrable manual handling experience with good interpersonal skills.
