Role Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all transport and travel enquiries from military personnel, civilians, and contractors.
- Coordinate personnel travel arrangements including flights, rail, taxis, and hire vehicles in line with MOD policy and duty of care.
- Manage vehicle bookings, driver scheduling, permits, and fleet administration using systems such as Amex GBT and Clarity Phoenix.
- Maintain accurate transport records, journey logs, audit trails, and compliance documentation to meet MOD requirements.
- Monitor adherence to MOD transport regulations, health & safety standards, and site procedures.
- Produce utilisation reports and provide operational support, including flexible driving duties when required.
Required Qualifications
- Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and web‑based booking systems.
- Previous experience in transport, fleet, or travel administration environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
- Strong communication skills and professional telephone manner.
- Full UK driving licence (Category B).
- Eligible for, or able to obtain, the required MOD Security Clearance.
Desirable
- Experience with Amex GBT, Clarity Phoenix, MyDrive or Campbell systems.
- Familiarity with MOD environments and transport regulations (e.g. JSP 800).
- IOSH Working Safely or NEBOSH equivalent.
