Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and fault finding with an electrical background, with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Relevant electrical technical qualifications (18th edition, e.g., City & Guilds).
  • Reactive work – Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), breakdown and fault finding work.
  • New small works install and test.
  • Clear communicator, both oral and written.
  • Able to build relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Live within a commutable distance to HMP Brixton.
  • Pass Prison Service Vetting.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary Β£35,000 - Β£38,000 per annum.
  • 39-hour week.
  • Pension and Life Insurance.
  • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays).

Shift Pattern:

  • Mon – Thu 08:00–17:00
  • Fri 08:00–16:00
  • On call 1 week in 3; On-call allowance Β£100 per week
  • Work 1 weekend in 6
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
