Job objectives and responsibilities
- To undertake the planned maintenance and repair of the Electrical equipment of building(s) as required under contract.
- To undertake other maintenance and reactive tasks within skills set/qualifications.
- To carry out reactive tasks within SLA's.
This is a static role based at North East Scotland College, Fraserburgh – no vehicle provided.
Main duties
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the appropriate paperwork and reports.
- Carry out Reactive and emergency tasks and complete the associated paperwork.
- Ability to produce permit to work/risk assessments as required.
Person Specification
- Qualified to City & Guilds Level or equivalent in relevant disciplines to role.
- 18th Edition Qualification.
- Commercial Electrical Experience – working in commercial environments.
- Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment, including boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable).
