About the Role
We are looking for a Detainee Custody Officer to work at the Vehicle Base in Swinderby. Salary: £27,449 per year based on a 40‑hour week.
Responsibilities
- Escort and transport immigration residents within the UK.
- Drive a minibus‑sized vehicle and ensure safe transportation of residents.
- Maintain high security and safety standards while treating residents with dignity and respect.
- Provide care to immigration residents in a short‑term holding facility.
- Work flexible shifts, including day, night, 24/7, 365‑day operation.
- Participate in a random drug and alcohol testing programme and comply with safety‑critical requirements.
Qualifications
- Full training and support will be provided.
- Must not be under the influence of any substance that could impair safe performance; willing to undergo random drug and alcohol testing.
