We are looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor focusing on the water industry. You will be responsible for carrying out legionella risk assessments manually and electronically, ensuring that risk assessment paperwork and reports are completed correctly and returned, and carrying out other operational work from time to time to ensure contractual commitments are met.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out legionella risk assessments manually and electronically

- Undertake legionella risk assessments in accordance with Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition Technical guidance documents of HSG274 British standard code of practice for Risk assessing BS8580-1 2019 Health Technical Memorandum 04-01: Safe Water in Healthcare Premises
Qualifications:
- Qualification in a City and Guilds Risk Assessing course (or equivalent)
- Experience in Legionella risk assessing
- Wide knowledge of the above risk assessment guidelines
- Sufficient experience in working in the water treatment industry
- Strong knowledge of health and safety
Skills & Other Requirements:
- Commercially aware and have good planning skills
- Strong IT literacy, ability to use a PDA to evidence compliance and productivity, able to draw schematic diagrams
- Full UK drivers' licence with less than 6 points
- Able to work as part of a team and under your own supervision
