Responsibilities:
- Serve in custody suites in collaboration with the Police, delivering healthcare to detainees.
- Ensure the safety of detainees through round‑clock coverage in the custody suites, following a schedule agreed with our client.
- Work flexibly across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area, in addition to your base custody suite.
Qualifications:
- Registered nurse (RN, RGN, or RMN with dual registration) with a minimum of two years post‑qualification experience in a patient‑facing role (Band 5 minimum).
- Paramedic with a minimum of two years post‑qualification experience.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK (British passport or ILR for the past 3 years, with no gaps outside the country longer than 3 months).
- All candidates will be subject to Police vetting and must be fit to return to work (RTW).
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: £20,500 per year.
- £500 bonus after completing 12 months of service.
- Estimated overtime: £3,500 per annum.
- Part‑time fixed shift working: day shifts 06:45–19:00 and night shifts 18:45–07:00 with a 2‑day on, 8‑day off rota and 2 nights, 4 days off pattern.
- Rolling rota available 2 years in advance.
- Full shifts required for all employees; part‑time employees must cover some night shifts.
- NMC/HCPC registration paid.
