The predicted salary is between 14.38 - 14.38 £ per hour.
Salary: £14.38 per hour – Hours: 38.5 hours per week – Shift Pattern: 7 am to 7 pm, 4 days on / 4 days off – Contract: Permanent.
In your new role as Supervisor, you'll be working within a warehouse environment as part of our cleaning and waste team. You will supervise and operate specific equipment, follow proper cleaning practices, and use chemicals in accordance with operational guidelines.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out daily and weekly checks of all machinery
- Reporting any faults to the Site Manager
- Ensuring that all Health & Safety requirements are understood and adhered to
- Liaising with the Site Manager during shift operations
- Monitoring waste production using weekly checklists and procedures
- Reviewing and verifying that all equipment is kept clean
- Securing equipment and materials when not in use
- Undertaking any cleaning and ad-hoc duties according to the needs of the business
- Dealing with customer complaints
- Attending appropriate training sessions
- Remaining aware of the Company/Client statutory fire and safety regulations
Qualifications:
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have previous supervisor experience, good customer focus and service skills, the ability to prioritise workload effectively, and strong organisational skills. You should work from your own initiative, possess a good understanding of Health and Safety legislation, and communicate effectively in English – an English language assessment may be required. You will be required to complete the Basic Disclosure (DBS Check) and undergo a drug and alcohol screening test.
