Security Team Leader Location: London Salary: £17.63 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of security officers to deliver outstanding performance.
- Ensure all security operations are carried out effectively and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Act as the first point of contact for security-related incidents and escalations.
- Conduct regular patrols, inspections, and audits to maintain a secure workplace.
- Monitor and respond to security systems, alarms, and access control platforms.
- Prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and investigate incidents where required.
- Build strong relationships with clients, employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Deliver briefings, training, and coaching to team members to encourage continuous development.
- Promote a positive security culture focused on professionalism, vigilance, and customer care.
About You

Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
- CCTV Licence.
- Experience with access control and CCTV systems.
- Previous experience in a corporate security environment.
- Experience supervising or leading security teams.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexible and reliable approach to working hours.
Desirable
- First Aid qualification.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
