Please Read Carefully - Dual-Role Opportunity
This exciting dual-role position offers the opportunity to work as both a Control Room Operator and Security Officer, providing variety and valuable operational experience across the estate.
- Guaranteed 24 hours per week
- Guaranteed 12-hour shifts
- Duties will be split between the Control Room and frontline security operations
- The role includes internal and external patrols, with some work undertaken outdoors
- As a relief cover position, shift patterns will vary to support operational requirements
- Applicants must hold both a valid CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) Licence and Door Supervisor (DS) Licence

About the Role:
- Dual officer role (Control Room Operator/Security Officer)
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Good level of concentration and coordinating
- Good communication skills and effective report writing capabilities
- Physical protection of the premises from any external or internal threats and preservation of life
- Prevention of loss of assets, critical technology, sensitive information or reputational damage
- Thorough knowledge of the client to minimise impact to business areas, escalating where appropriate and understanding of critical systems
- Oversee perimeter access through reception for staff, tenants, contractors, and visitors.
- Undertaking patrolling, searching and emergency response procedures.
- Monitor access and egress of personnel and guests and respond to breaches
- Maintain clear and legible records and logbook Adhere to health & safety at all times.
- Any other duties deemed necessary
- Incident management.
About You:
- You hold BOTH a Door Supervisor AND a CCTV license (essential)
- Ability to demonstrate that you can problem solve under pressure
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise daily workload
- Passionate about delivery excellent service
- Willing to embrace a new and exciting challenge.
- Valid SIA DS Licence & CCTV Licence
- Front of house experience
- Control Room experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Adhere to health & safety at all times
- Any other duties deemed necessary
