We’re looking for a Fabric Technician who will undertake fabric-related duties throughout County Hall and ensure the site is maintained to the highest standards.

Role Responsibilities

  • Complete general fabric PPM tasks as per the site planner
  • Undertake fabric repairs within SLA times, including small redecoration works, painting, door furniture, door closures, locks, filling and making good, and minor woodworking
  • Record job status accurately using the PDA
  • Maintain the client’s premises to the highest standard through a proactive approach to repairs
  • Assist onsite engineers and undertake escort duties for subcontractors when required

Required Qualifications

  • Served a recognised fabric apprenticeship or completed relevant fabric training courses, with the necessary experience
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
  • High standards with a keen eye for detail, punctual and reliable
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Capability to attend site meetings, training, and work outside normal hours where required
