Reporting to: Manchester Site Security Manager

Position: Permanent

Rota Pattern: 6 on 3 off (3 days, 3 nights, 3 off)

Hours: 12 hours per shift

Pay: £14.35 an hour

Day shifts timings: 07:00 to 19:00

Night shifts timings: 19:00 to 07:00

Qualifications

  • Skills for Security trained
  • General Data Protection Regulations; the CCTV Commissioner
  • Evidence and database management

Operational Duties

  • Monitoring of external and internal activity specific to multiple locations while identifying occurrences of suspicious or unusual behaviour
  • Tracking of suspicious individuals specific to possible risk or threat
  • Communication and liaison with security staff or police to provide detailed intelligence about suspects, such as their behaviours, actions, location and description
  • Ensuring CCTV systems are checked and fully functioning, and that video footage is recorded and stored appropriately
  • Assisting police in their enquiries by providing access to CCTV recordings, or copies of footage, as required, subject to appropriate GSPR protocol
  • Provision of surveillance support to site patrolling program in support of risk identification and prevention
  • Application of excellent situational awareness in relation to maintaining a high level of security and safety risk awareness, by being inquisitive while exercising caution and good judgement at all times
  • Observation and surveillance skills to include risk and threat identification
  • Application of SCaN principles and Power of Hello commensurate with countering risk of Hostile Reconnaissance
  • Speedy and accurate reporting of suspicious activity
  • Have a clear understanding of guidance and response relating to Trespass
